The Thread Files pane gives you a single, organised view of every file attached to or generated within a thread — so you can find, preview, and reuse assets without scrolling back through the conversation.
What's new
A resizable side panel now appears on any thread page. It lists all files associated with that thread in one place, whether they were uploaded as attachments or created by an AI tool during the conversation. You can browse files in a grid view for visual scanning or switch to list view when you need file names and details at a glance. Selecting any file opens a preview dialog so you can inspect it without leaving the thread.
How to use it
Open any thread from your workspace.
Look for the Files panel along the side of the thread. If it is collapsed, click the panel toggle at the edge of the screen to expand it.
Use the grid / list toggle at the top of the panel to switch between views.
Click any file thumbnail or name to open the preview dialog and inspect the file in full.
To resize the panel, drag the divider rail left or right until the panel width suits your workflow. Your adjustment applies for the current session.
Tips
All files in one place. The pane surfaces both files you uploaded manually and any images, documents, or assets that were generated during the thread — you do not need to search through individual messages to track them down.
Drag to the width you need. The panel is resizable, so you can give it more space when reviewing lots of generated images or collapse it almost entirely when you want to focus on the conversation.
Preview before you download. The preview dialog lets you check a file's contents at full size before deciding whether to download or reuse it elsewhere in your workspace.
Note: The Thread Files pane shows files scoped to the current thread only. To browse assets across all your threads, visit your Collections library.
